“You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” Eleanor Roosevelt
How many times during the day while doing our businesses are we really focused on being productive – moving the business forward and not just “busy”?. How many times do we check our Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and get pulled in and then wonder where the time went?
For myself, I wasn’t always this focused and disciplined on my business. The focus and discipline grew as the realization became more clear that if I didn’t move my business forward, then I didn’t really have a business. If I didn’t run my business, then who else would do it?
And when this realization grabbed me by the throat, I knew what I had to do. And I also knew that it was the deadly F word (not what you’re thinking) – FEAR – that had stopped me and put me into procrastination mode/self sabotage mode.
Has this happened to you too? Fear is insidious. It creeps up when we’re not paying attention, when we’re not mindful.
Did you know that Fear is an illusion? Your mind is 90% of your success or failure? It controls your actions. It is your most powerful asset.
When courage wells up inside you then you can and must do the thing you think you cannot do.
